THE COVERUP IS ALWAYS* WORSE THAN THE CRIME

Plunder at the Peak

This was published June 29, 2026 and is still being updated

Over the winter of 2023-24 there were three snowmobiles stored in the Buffalo Peak maintenance shop. At least one of them was stolen and was stripped of parts and dumped. When a bad review was left online regarding the theft and storage, two armed Buffalo Peak employees came to a young mothers home frightening her and her infant child and made terrorist threats against her until she agreed to remove the bad review. The June 27, 2024 message below shows her outreach to Union County Commissioner Donna Beverage that was forwarded to Dana Londin, Buffalo Peak GM. The incident was also reported to the Union County Sheriff.

On May 28, 2025 a piece of equipment was stolen from Buffalo Peak and sold. Over the next three months there was a rolling burglary which emptied the maintenance shop of thousands of dollars in tools and supplies. The ongoing theft was repeatedly reported to and disregarded by Dana Londin. County Commissioner Matt Scarfo was informed of the thefts in an April 2026 meeting which was recorded.

Both of these crimes have several commonalities, the enforcer and thief PJ Pattee Jr., the dismissal by both Commissioners, and a criminal coverup by the General Manager of Buffalo Peak Dana Londin the Union County Sheriff Cody Bowen.

Lt. Stevens of the OSP twice refused my request for a meeting with a detective stating that the UCSO investigation was complete and being kept in-house by the Union County Administrator, when I told him I suspected UCSO criminal involvement I was told that OSP does not do “concurrent investigations”. The clear message was that we don’t investigate fellow law enforcement agencies.

As a result, I am traveling to Salem Tuesday to try and get through the front door of the DOJ, Attorney General and OSP-CID. I will stop at the FBI main office in Portland for the second time in 19 months. I will also be contacting every media outlet I can and asking for an interview. The contact information for these agencies and news outlets can be found below.

Please help me get through by contacting each and every one and demanding an investigation

[Name redacted for safety] Hi Donna. My names [Name redacted for safety] My husband [Name redacted for safety] and I both are being harassed by a PJ and Tanner Simmons that work for Buffalo Peak. They've been now threatening us on the golf course property & just now came up to our house.

We have video footage and we begged them to leave. He kept flashing his gun on his hip to us on the side of his hip.

We have a 14 almost 15 month old daughter that was screaming and crying inside because of their yelling.

We do not feel safe and we've never had issues in Union before.

My husband was born and raised here. His grandma is [Name redacted for safety]. I'm sure you may know her.

But PJ now made the comment he's going to show up to [Name redacted for safety]'s work and harass him.

We are very scared now.

This is very unprofessional as he was keeping our property at the golf course and treated us this bad.

His coworker Tanner and their girlfriends came up to our property tearing our gravel driveway up by their driving.

Tanner mentioned you screamed at them on the phone for our review.

I am very sorry for all of this but our family is very scared.

They threatened our family and safety if we didn't take the review down I left on him.

This is the only reason why I took it down.

We will be contacting the Sheriff's Office as well.

From Donna Beverage: I will forward it to our manager.
